Week 3 fun with Nana and G
We had a "low key" last week with Nana and G!
Definition of low key: Visit the Botanic Gardens, take a train ride to North Berwick and visit Tantallon Castle, build a fairy garden, go to Camera Obscura, find a yummy vegan restaurant and visit a new part of Edinburgh, Leith.
October 15th: The Botanic Gardens are still in bloom! These gardens are so unique and beautiful and FREE! The kids have loved getting to explore all the natural beauty.

We took a short bus ride to Tantallon Castle, now a ruin, was built in the 14th century.

October 18th: A beautiful day in Edinburgh calls for visit to The Meadows.

Seth and I were blessed with a date night (thanks G and Nana). We went to The Devil's Advocate where we discovered the best charcuterie plate!
A view of New College on our way to lunch at Hendersons - serving up vegetarian and vegan yumminess!
It's not good-bye for long! We will see you again soon! Thanks Nana and G for all the wonderful and amazing memories! We love you! Catch you on the flip flop!

October 19th: We went for a stroll up The Royal Mile. We got to pet a cute little owl on our way to Camera Obscura. Discovered in the 1850's by Maria Short, wowing locals with her live, moving pictures of the city. (Cinema won't be invented for another half century!)
We had way too much fun with all the illusions! We only ran into the walls of the glass maze a few times!
A view of New College on our way to lunch at Hendersons - serving up vegetarian and vegan yumminess!
October 20th: A trip to Leith, home of The Royal Yacht Britannia, a former royal residence of Queen Elizabeth II, in service from 1954 to 1997. We enjoyed a nice stroll along Leith Walk and lunch at Pizza Express.
